Ignition Switch Replacement?

Does anyone have a write-up to replace the ignition switch, cause I need to do this, and cant find a write-up anywhere... thanks for any responses

Moved this over to the tech lounge. You might click on the How To link at the top and see if we have one in there or not, Im not sure if we do or do not. I know there is one out there somewhere because its what I used when I did mine.

Okay, if you dont find it, I'll try and get what I have posted up. It is not my How To, I did not make it up and Im not sure who the credit goes to. You might check the other site because I got it off there.

I dont mind posting it up here, I just would feel better if the original author knew about it.

Also, would Dielectric grease help prevent the arching that causes the carbon build-up?

I dont know that I would use Dielectric grease. However, BackInBlack has an ignition saver modification that should do the trick. Im not sure where its at on here, there was a thread about it. But I used it when I put in my new switch/harness.

i wouldnt take apart a good ignition switch... too many tiny parts that may not go back together right

i'd use either backinblack's ignition saver mod (or my plug and play version of same)
