If your a fan of GOOD music (rap), in here!

kanye and asher :th_laugh-lol3::th_laugh-lol3::th_laugh-lol3:

never liked kanye ever since tht music awards thing. :th_shakinghead2:

Doesn't mean he's a bad artist. He really was the first mainstream rapper to stray from the "hood"/"thug" rap sound. Rapping about things other than guns and donked-out cars makes me respect him. Asher Roth is a hell of a lyricist, he just wasn't taken seriously after "I love College." Listen to "Lark on my Go Cart."

hell yea tech nine, wiz, kuddi are all sick. techs sickology 101 album is good. atmosphere is f***in the s*** they are from minnesota:th_jester:

Atmosphere is pretty amazing. Just discovered that recently.

tech9, seriously? wale has maybe 2 songs worth listening to.

Yes, seriously. You spelled whale wrong, also.

kanye cant sing, his beats are cool though. and whoever said lupe, asher roth wooow..

wheres eminem, tupac, notorious, bun b and the bone thugs?

Kanye doesn't have to be able to sing. He's a rapper. I expect more of a poet than a singer.

Lupe and Asher Roth are both amazing lyricists, and rap on more than one line.

Bone Thugs and Tupac are good for older stuff, but people who say BIG is a "great" rapper don't appreciate good rap.

Yes, seriously. You spelled whale wrong, also.

you forgot to capitalize Whale, teach.

lol half the artists in this thread arent even in the "rap" category. you mean hip hop?

notorious thugz, big pappa, hypnotize, juicy.. you dont like those songs? :th_liar:

eminems has some good, but most are bad.

how about ludacris, akon, T.I., gorilla zoe? i know roca hates gorilla zoe

i been listenin to rap since it was rap, late 80's early to late 90's..... biggie is recognized by me and a ton of other fans, producers, artists as one of the best there ever was... ready to die prob one of my fave CD's of all time. i listen to some of the hip-hop, flip flop we have now these days..... same repetitive beats rappin bout 30 in rims, chains hangin to ya waist, bustin caps etc etc.... thing is most of these rappers are straight up studio gangstas, hard as cotton, scared on the streets.... seen the video of lil wayne on youtube? he wit his crew *bloods* in LA, about 30 crips punked his ass out. pussies wouldnt do ****, locked their doors and drove slowly through the group of crips that was bout to **** his ass up. rap is dead and has been dead for awhile.
