• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Idle voltage....Alternator?

Before anything you should get yourself a good voltage gauge that plugs into the cigarette lighter, or a multimeter on the battery is best. The voltage gauges on the dash are a good indicator but never 100% accurate, often they can be out a fair bit.

The way to test if it is alt.

1. Test battery voltage at pos and neg
2. Test voltage at the alt output, more then a half a volt difference you got a bad alt or bad wiring going to alt.

On both test use the same ground point

I will check later today when I get home. I think the reason for my issue might be the 2 pumps going constantly with my headlights on at night. I rather find the issue prior to something dieing. Like TDRacing said, his has been like that for a year now. I just noticed it and I could be in the same boat
