• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Idle air control

Both of mine were the same size and length... And they were those stupid safety inverse torx ones.... errrrr

Dbextreme why do they use these,I've seen people take a tiny drill bit and drill that nipple out, that's what I'm going to do

They are made of a VERY soft metal. One of them may have been stripped out when someone was taking them out. It probably got replaced with a normal screw.

How about a pic to show us?

Dosn't suprise me...
I had one of the screws snap off on me when stripping an l67 TB this winter.
Had to weld a nut onto what was left of it to extract the broken screw still in the TB

They are a PITA!!!! I ended up waiting and got the bits off Amazon. A buddy of mine had to dremel a slot in his screw head to use a flat head screwdriver to remove it. Blows my mind some of the stuff they use.. LOL

I think my iac is bad,my thing that screws in the sensor is stripped out,it just flies out when I took the sensor off and dropped a screw, what size of screw can I use and does it sound like the sensor is bad?
