So my girlfriend approached me the other day and told me that she was going to buy my hed unit for me (I already bought it :P) Now she wants to buy me my sub combo (sub and amp)... But thats 200$ idk what I should do. She doesnt make that much (not nealy as much as me)... But she seems set on doing this. Should I let her or what?? Damn itd be nice but ill feel soooooo horrible

Ok first off.. I know but still thats like 4 months of saving for her...

2nd.. Dang Bill how the hell did you answer that that fast... I barely had time to start another program here at work

The correct answer would be to say that her just being there for you is enough, no possessions or amount of money will ever change that.

But I would just ask her if you get to keep it when you guys break up. lol

HHAHA^^^ Ive tried telling her to only spend $50 or less.. but shes resiliant that she wants to buy it for me cause I want it. Shes impossible lol

You guys never cease to amaze me with great comments haha. I feel bad too i mean I only spent 150$ on her for valentines day I must be slipping

Being "older and wiser", if she understands what she's doing. Then it's ok beause she's going to do something anyway. Holding her back may cause her to have other regretful feelings that you don't want to foster.

Ive tole her she doesnt have to. And it was a necklace but we had only been dating for approximately 2 months so you know

Hahah well its been six now :P and im not gonna have a job in a month. But ya im thinkin about asking her just to go halfsies with me

Unless you have some serious savings..

Don't be retarded. Toys are for people with money. Saving is for people about to not have a job.

Sounds to me like you've done due diligence to dissuade her. It's all on her now. Let her spend the money.
