When I went to buy my car, I pointed out to the seller that there was a rust spot under the gas tank. He got the bright ida of sanding it down, putting bondo on it and painting over it, and it looks terrible, I actually think the rust might've looked better.

Anyone have any ides how I can make that area look a little better?
I'd appreciate it.

Cheap fix? Go get matching factory paint put in a can for you and blend it in.


I recommend going to a body shop and having it done right, and permanently though.
 
Yeah, it was the area right below the gas lid that rusted out.
What do you all think about maaco paintjobs, probably garbage right?
