Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

IAT vs. ohms?

I want to build a timing commander/happy knob Does any one know for sure what the resistance of the IAT reads at (-40*C, -30*C and -20*C) or (-40*F, -22*F and -4*F)?

My guesses are 100k, 53k and 29k respectively. I would check with a decade box, but my car is not here at the moment.

Got back from work and i have the car, but no decade box. It must be in storage. But, i have resistors!!
here are my numbers: *C/Ohms/cell recorded in HPT
-39/unplugged/-40
-34/93k/-30
-28/46.5k/-30
-23/32k/-20
-19/24.5k/-20
-15/19.47k/-10
-9/14.6k/-10
-1/9.8k/0
14/4.65k/10
70/468/70
now that i have numbers...

looks like you need a 0-100kOhm potentiometer. buy one with like 10 set positions and then play with it like that. so long as whatever resistance its pulling is set up for a specific level of timing then you should be fine. wish i could have set up my happy knob. timing changes on the fly are awesome.
