Bryant is too busy dodging tsunamis on his boat, otherwise he woulda been blowing up this thread. lol But they've done a great job so far getting things together and it's a lot of work, so if people want more options, let's look into them instead of bugging about it...

I say nobody is gonna pay a lot of money for a hotel, we're grand prix owners. The closer we can get to the track the better. I'm taking a room for myself and the gf alone because it's going to be our anniversary, i would invite 3 others into the room so it's cheaper, but she would probably kick us all out then.

I'll update my post in the first page of this thread with a list of rooms needed and we can also get a list of hotels and their prices. Maybe instead of narrowing it down to 1 hotel we just pick 2 hotels near eachother depending on prices.

If you guys can look up hotels and we can get a list of how many rooms we would need and if someone is looking to bunk up, then that's what we'll do.

What we need to do is just start a thread with the info, then a post for people attending, a post for the hotel situation and a list of rooms, a list for people in need of tunes, a list of people getting fenders rolled and then sticky it and lock it with either the mods or the people gathering the information can still edit their posts.

Just going onto hotels.com there are a few hotels in the area. The Claion Inn is on the Cedar Falls Raceway website, maybe they have special rates for people going to Midnight Mania?

As it sits right now on Hotels.com these are the rates:

Comfort Inn - $100/night
Clarion Inn - $95/night
Cedar Falls Days Inn - $52/night
Super 8 - $76/night
Ramada - $74/ night


There are others listed but they are getting to be about 15 miles or so away from the track. I wasn't sure how far everyone is willing to travel.
 


ok i talked to a lady at clarion inn/days inn (they are associatted with the drag strip) And she said calrion inn owns both places and at clarion inn it is $89 a night and at days inn it is $59 a night. She also said for the amount of people wanting rooms we should look at getting 15 rooms at days inn and maybe 10 at clarion inn. she said possibly we can get em all at the same hotel.

SO....

Clarion inn - $89 a night
Days inn - $59 a night
 
ok now the lady from Ramada inn just called me back and this ramada inn is the biggest hotel in the area and is one of the nicest and i bet everyone would like this hotel. the price for this hotel is $65 a night and that has 1 king bed and a sofa that folds out into a full size bed. ( i think htis hotel would be the best).

so now we got

clarion inn - $89 a night
days inn - $59 a night
Ramada inn - $65 a night

i think we all should go to ramada inn bcuz it is a very nice hotel and has a huge pool and hottub and such. its only about 10 miles from the strip so its nott hat far. And ramada inn has enough rooms that we could have a block as long as i call her back soon enough. So please everyone let me know what u guys think asap. thank you

will they offer a room with two smaller beds for the same price? one king and a pullout couch seems kinda stupid if most of us are planning on splitting a room.

otherwise im down for the ramada.
 
well u see UNI ( a college here) as some basketball tournament that same weekend. and the lady from ramada said all the double bed rooms r taken bcuz of that... i dont see the couch being a problem.
