• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

IAC

Maybe.

Unplug it, then start the car. It might take a few attempts to get it running but if it idles smooth afterwards and runs okay, then I'd say the maf is faulty.

Your check engine light will come on because the MAF is unplugged.

No. It's 2 screws and 2 nuts to take off and unplug the TB

Edit: of course that's after you remove the maf and whatever intake setup you have

Yep just like that
Scrub it clean with some rags and TB spray
And get some MAF spray since it will be off...but don't scrub on the MAF

Crap it's deeper than a idling problem right?

So it stumbles through the power band or just at 2k?...fuel filter maybe
When was the last time you changed plugs/wires...
Did you scan it to see if there is any codes.

Run a can of seafoam in the tank...maybe dirty injector....start with the simple....do a close visual inspection of vac lines, wiggle spark plug wires to make sure they are on tight, cus it out

I did the plug and wires last summer but put a crap ton of miles on it when I started work and starts at 2k all the way up till the cutoff don't remember when I did the fuel filter
