Twice in the last week I've had my idle stick at about 1500 RPM. I was scanning the second time so I was able to get some more info on it. If I shut the car off and restart it, idle returns to normal. Commanded idle is 850 even though it's running at 1500 when it happens. IAC position runs between 170-175 when idling normal, but is reading 0 when idle is stuck at 1500. My guess is the IAC valve is sticking open. Sound right or do you have another suggestion of something to check?
