i wouldn't say i want all out but a little closer to that than a little bass, you know? lol. a friend has 2 12 inch cvr kickers in a kicker box and i wanted something that is a bit better than that cause that wasn't enough for me but not too ridiculousness. After a lot of reading I've done most people don't like cvrs. Thanks for the reply.What are you looking for? Aiming for all out or some added base that sounds good?
You don't have to take up any usable space if you don't want to, I did this with the Regal. Sounds good adds the needed base. Although it's not going to break any sunroof, it's all I need.
OH and I've been trying to get a tool that is able to remove the door panels bolts that are 10mm. My socket wrenches are either too big and cant fit through the hole or they are too short. I bought a set of drivers, i think that is what they are called but they are too thick and can't make it all the way into the hole. Any suggestions for that as well? I think its stupid how the hole gets smaller the further you go in -.-
Edit: Contacted these people about the custom enclosure and asked them for an estimate. Showed them the ebay box and asked them i'd like one similar to that but in specs with the sub and if possible ported. i looks like they do a pretty good job from those pictures.. if the pictures are theirs.

The guy responded, he said his designs are similar to the ebay one. 200 sealed or 240 ported. he said it comes with trim around the box, not sure what that means, and it has carpet.
I planned on doing the install of the amp myself but went ahead and asked him how much he would charge. he said 50 for labor, and 55 for a 4awg kit or a better 4awg kit for 87 w/tax. he said he solders all connections so there will never be a loose connections, and that it helps with proper voltage for the equipment.
What do you guys think? im pretty sure i can get an amp kit cheaper from sonic or audiosavings. i told him i planned on doing the installation myself but just wanted to see how much he would charge to do it professionally.

lol, yeah i just started researching 1/0 welding cable, supposedly its cheaper. im going to try to make my own amp kit. i haven't got a clue of what i will need but i will get it eventually. i think i'll make it go something like 1/0 from battery to distribution block to two 4awg into hifonics amps (max is 4awg) and future 4chan amp. And some of those fuse things some where in their. not quiet sure how those work yet, or how many i will need.
What do you think about the sub enclosure price? its quiet a bit more than the ebay one, not sure if i should just go with ebay. also found other online websites that sell the same type of enclosure, with minor differences in the cubic feet.

you will need, main run to rear, fuse for main run, terminals for all connections, ground wire( just oreder more of your main run wire) rca's, and remote wire. Also please dont use walmart speaker wire lol but with teh amp input being only 4awg i would use reducer's. Check out Amp Installation Kits, HDMI Cables for every thing you need.

a pair of those Sundown E-12s will do VERY well in a properly designed ported box on 1200 -1500 watt rms. They are terribly under rated and a single E-12 will actually take over 1000 rms of clean (no clipping) power. Jacob (the owner of Sundown) actually has a video somewhere proving this.
Also when looking at amps you want to get something that is actually rated higher than you plan on using. You don't want to have to turn the gain all the way to get the power you need, this will induce clipping and ruin your subs (regardless of brand). If you are looking at the Hifonics line look for a BRZ1700 or higher. Also some people may disagree but the Opti series from lanzar is decent stuff as well.
As far as wiring get at least 0ga for your power and ground, as well as the Big 3. You will need to run power from the batt to the amp, then a ground from the amp to a solid CLEAN point in the trunk. checkout Sound Deadening and Car Audio Wiring by Audio Technix - #1 Dynamat Sound Deadener Replacement! for your wire. Also friends with him on Facebook and this is the only wire i use in my car.
If you will be keeping nasty stuff in your trunk for awhile consider having a box built with the subs facing up and a port facing toward one of the wheel wells, and mount your amp on floor of the trunk closest to the seats, or for that matter mount it right on the back of the seats.
If you are really on a tight budget apparently the newest Alpine Type R 8" subs do really well and will take a tad over their rated rms power, 2 8s in a properly designed and built box will blow away a lot of people that have 2 10s or 1 15. i have a friend that was competing for awhile with 2 Sundown 8s on ~1500w. When people sat in his car for a demo he offered them a $20 bill of they could guess what subs he was using.....he still hasn't lost.
