• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

i race

Absolutely. It's a SD tune, since it idles at ~1850, and cam is .864/861 on 108 lobe sep. The a/c doesn't phase it in the least. I've actually been reprimanded a few times for running the air in the staging lanes at events- ****, it gets hot in a black car, suit and helmet. :)

It pulls pretty consistent 1.29s on ET Radials these days with an M6, I think I can live with that considering it's a full optioned car that curbs at 3700.

so sick...

You're right... Sick is cutting up a new car to do this shiz to- It has 14K on it to date.

Oh yeah... And more. I'm slow in the LS world, there's some ridiculous stuff going together now'days.

so was the wheels up just a botched launch? Does it usually go foward instead of up?

Well, maybe botched, maybe just awesome prep at the Thunder Shootout, maybe a combination of the two. We'd been trying to dial in the rear shocks, and assumed that the track would be going away as the night set in... Wrong. It's stood up a few times before, but never as hard and fast s it did that night. And I may have been a little tighter on the clutch than I should have been... ;)

I believe that would be the "wrinkle" side wall for added traction.

ding, ding, ding... That's what sold me on 'em over full out slicks- Ridiculous traction like the ET Drags I was running previously, and the high speed stability of a radial. M/T out did themselves on the new Drag Radials.

I think I want to go radials after I burn up my slicks. I've heard et radials hook real goos we had the BF drag radial and it was an epic fail.

Waiting for track times.

Ive been in multiple turbo GPs and according to your speedo it really doesnt seem THAT fast. Looks like you have to granny shift out of fear the clutch/trans will explode also.

BFGs blow... They're the reason "Drag Radials" got a bad name with the racers in the first place. The M/Ts are a whole different world- They match my best 60' on the Bias Slicks, track straight and true on the big end, and no tail wag when you get out of the throttle at 150+ mph. :th_thumbsup-wink:

Oh, and I actally picked up ~2 mph trap with 'em.

8's are fun and tail wag sucks just wait to see if you ever run bias ply rear radial front that's just a dangerously stupid combo.

Over the last 25 years, i've run a little of everything...;) I know of what you speak. The previous tire was a 29X14.00 slick... Oh~ it's got a Detroit locker in it-How fun was that. :th_laugh-lol2:

mine idles at 800Rpm, I may change it to 1000, it already idles in 3rd gear doing 27mph lol

i was granny shifting and not even in the full power band because i was driving and holding a camera
