ok i have a cold air intake colder plugs and im ganna eather put a 160 t stat or 180 what one should i run and i wanna drop a pulley size i have stock wanna go 3.4 can i do this safe with stock pcmi dont wanna hurt it ima get a new one just not yet and can you cut the cat off wit out tripping the o2 code if you could help that would be great
 


get a 180

you need a plog and DP or headers to drop to a 3.4 pulley.

a tune world be wanted when dropping to a 3.4

cutting the cat off with throw a o2 code that would need to be deleted forever with a tuner or in the tune you get.
 
sorry to sound stupid im new to super chargers whats a pog dp and can i run the 3.4 with out a tune cuz no one around here can tune it im ganna get a tune just dont no wen and im not tryen to blow up my motor and thanks for the help
 


im ganna buy a new pcm but dont have the money right now im just tryen to make some more power my buddie got a evo and thinks my car is slow and wont b fast granet his is crazy and mine will never touch his just wanna show him the gtps can hold there own
 
If your friend...has a modded Evo...good luck. You won't get him from a dig, a roll...or top end for that matter...even on a 3.4" setup most likely.

Might as well cam it, intercool it...get bigger injectors and run E85.
 
Run a stock T-stat. buy some $200 headers from ebay, and then get the 3.4 at the same time as a canned tune from a vendor (ZZP, Wbody store, INTENSE, ect)

What is your budget? Are you mechanically inclined enough to make these mods yourself or will you need to pay someone to install them? What is your end goal for the car?

And don't say "I wanna beat my buddies Evo", because if you don't have some serious $$$ laying around then it's never going to happen. Once you add power to the motor then you have to have a trans. built to put it to the ground as these aren't known for their longevity even at stock power levels. You'll need to invest in an Aeroforce gauge as well so you can tell when you have an issue w/ KR before you pop a piston or 3.

Read through blue's post and mod list and ask questions. I'm sure he can tell you what all has broken and how/why, lol...

I fear this will end in a "I need a new motor" thread.
 
Thanks for all the help and yes I can do the work myself and I'm not trying to race the evo just show him that these gtps can hold there own and can any one on here program my pcm il pay u if u could or does any one have headers or a smaller pully or other stuff that would help thanks for all the help and sorry about the spelling I'm on my phone I post from there mote then my computer
