i have a 2004 Pontiac grand prix gtp comp g that i want to hook up fuel air ratio gauge to? i hooked it to a white wire on my 02 sensor but it keeps reading lean and doesnt rotate around when i know its suppose to. its a narrowband i am considering buying a wideband but dont want to if its not going to work? any suggestions of what im doing wrong??

Factory o2's are Narrowband...so you just got a gauge to read your narrowband...which would just be reading the factory o2 readings?

Should have just bought a Wideband in the first place since narrowband/factory isn't much fun.

I got the gauge for free so thats no big deal. Its like its hooked to white wire.. but doesnt read anything except lean? so if i buy a wideband it will work right reading the correct numbers without buying another 02 sensor?

why does it read lean the hole time and doesnt move off the red? what color wire does it need to be hooked to off an 02 sensor
