I have a 98 gtp. One day as I was to pick up my friend I turned off my car. It was raining really bad. When I was about to leave I started my car but it hesitated then turned off. So I waited about a minute then tried again. It fired up like nothing ever happened. So for about a week it was fine. Then it just wouldn't start anymore. So I looked at many forums n the book from autozone. I changed the fuel filter and fuel pump. The air filter is new. New spark plugs and new spark plugs wires. The relays are fine. I don't know what else to fix or try. Iginiton coils are fine. Guy at autozone checked the coils. Someone help please

Did you check the fuel pump resistor ? It's known to cause problems like this. I think ZZP has a kit to bypass it.

I would say check all your fuses first. Then if nothing, check and see if you have spark and fuel and go from there. I had an issue recently where my FP wasn't turning on, most would say that it was the resistor, but another thing that goes bad is the pigtail on the fuel pump wiring harness. I looked at mine and noticed that the negative contact of the connector melted.

You should be able to hear the FP kick in, if not then you know you got to check that path out.
