I need affordable and reliable brakes

Hey i just completed my 3.4" set up and like it. Now with more power i figured it's best to upgrade my front and back brakes. I'm looking to buy a 12" kit that comes with calipers/brackets, boots, rotors, everything that i would need for the job. I'm trying to keep this on a low budget. I was curious if anyone has ever ordered this kit from ZZP and if it's worth the money. ZZ Performance --> 12" brake kit upgrade $159.99. If you reccomend any other kits just post them. Also does it matter if i upgrade my two front brakes first and then my back brakes or vice versa ? Thanks a lot. :th_thumbsup-wink:

I put on ceramic pads about 3 months ago, it's just everytime i push the brakes to slow down from around 60+ MPH the steering column shakes pretty roughly. Any idea ?

you........... bought ****ty pads which have a very low heat temp range and need to rebed your pads or warped your ****ty ass ****ing rotors. :D

you cant "see" just rebed your pads and see if it goes away.

Get up to 80 MPH then take it down to 30 and then WOT till 80 and back down again. do it so that you've done the braking thing five times total in a row.

That should rebed them nicely.

You can get a set of rotors off of ebay that are drilled and slotted for around 80 bucks...and those were the 12"ers so I'm sure the stock size would be cheaper. I remember when I upgraded from stockers to D/S all around with just new Duralast pads...it made one HELL of a difference.

drilled or slotted rotors do not increase breaking performance.... Drilled just increases cooling.

It was the new pads that made the difference.
