• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

yeah, i was gonna say "now put it back together". that is the hard part. i can take anything apart..

engines are easy. i go to UTI and when i got to my first class, basic engines, i was falling asleep in class basically, never studied for anything, and still got a 99.9% in that class, missed 1 question on the final cause i was rushing to get it done and go home.

Lol

lol. How is that school? Is it pretty nice? Cool stuff going on there in class or what?

Engines are easy, they only go together one way, if not youll soon find out your mistake.

Now try putting a big block into a 3rd gen f body in less then 8 hours start to fire up and 20 minute break in.

hehehe i understand guys but all i can say is its def a good learning experiance for me since i have no internal engine knowledge.

yup, i understand. Thing about it is my bros have taught me all i know and ive learned on my own alot too. you will only get better.

yeah i agree i feel like i can conquer all engine problems know that i see and understand the basics. its sorta like a easy puzzle ha. transmissions thats a dif class i will be in next year that i really wanna understand. its amazing how with me hands on is the only way to work $(^$ book work ha

too bad book work is like 70 percent of it. Diagnosing is another story also. As for transmissions, manuals arent that tough, some autos can be tricky but the 4t65e is cake with an atsg manual, rebuilt mine with my bros help still goin strong with my lead foot 40k later...

Thats where i plan on going in the fall or winter :). Its soooooo expensive but, its worth it

Thats cool!! My xboyfriend is at Wyotech and he got to work on the 3800 motor and now is working on the 4t65e

Congrats! Thats going to be a great experiance for you that will last a lifetime. I wish I would of taken classes like that when I had the chance. Luckily for me in High School an older friend of mine was a gear head and I learned alot from him on building big block Chryslers. Without his knowledge and treaching I'd only know how to do basic maintence. I wish I had someone to wrench with nowadays, I tend to be solo on everything I do nowadays. I still wrench on something every weekend though, alone or not. The only way to learn is to be hands on, screw up a few times, and try again. Its worth it in the end.

Good luck man, your lucky to have the opertunity. Its too late for me...

Well damnit Shawn if you move to the KCMO area you'd have A LOT of people to hang out and work on cars with :p

Yeah I know man, I'd kill to have the people and get togethers you guys have over there. You're group is quite active, your very lucky to have such good people near by.

On of these days I plan on checking out one of your big meets...
