Local lower 20's guy around here has a early 2000 regal supercharged.. and man does that blower howl! he kicked my ass badly! ha i asked him what he had in it he said a big throttle body smaller pulley exhaust.. man was that think LOUD! haha props to him total black regal sleeper ha. if your reading this somehow? Unless it's a custom job I don't know of any Whipple Regals in IL. Only one I know of was in No. Cal. and I'm not even sure if he ever got the project on the road.

i don't know how to explain it but, a stock gen3 with stock pulley has a higher pitch to it.

A stock gen5 with the same size pulley has a louder deep tone

^Im pretty sure all those are stock pulleys. The real difference shows when pulleys get dropped.

o okay i see. yea i would agree the gen V are deeper but the gen 3's are more high pitched. never really compared them side to side.

Gen V is more efficient than a Gen III as it can make as much power and get better MPG's off of a larger pulley (hence GenIII 3.4 = Gen V 3.6)
