The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
I just ordered 10k digital slim hid's fro vvme and i had just one question. my car has the automatic lights and turn on automatically(not daytime running lights)do i have to disable those and if so how do i do that.
Not sure if you have to or not but in the event that you do this is how it's done:
1. Pull the DRL fuse in the fusebox (I did this).
2. Disconnect the little silver heatsink behind the access panel on the driver's side of the dash (there's more info on this if you're interested). I did this before I pulled the fuse, and for what it's worth, I'd say just pull the fuse and be done with the whole DRL/auto headlights thing.
You'll wanna reprogram the car to not flash the lights when you lock, unlock and pop the trunk. You can find this information in your owners manual. You'll know the procedures when you find it. It will have you pull the mall pgm fuse in the fusebox, then turn the car to accessories and hit the unlock? Button on the key fob I think. You will hear a series of dings but you wanna turn the key to the off position when you only hear it ding once. Then you put the fuse back in and make sure it worked.
real quick you dont have any kind of remote entry? i thought i didnt and bought a fob and programmed. all it did was unlock and trunk but if you dont have factory alarm i believe they dont blink
i do have the original key fob but i had to get a new bcm for my car and i would of have to paid 50 bucks to get it reprogrammed but i might do it in the future. and yes if you dont have an alarm system your light wont blink.
