I have decided to top swap!!!

Aight people after careful consideration, research, thinking thinking and more thinkin and seeing the trend, I have decided that Im officially going top swap! Now this will not probably happen officially until around summer but I have an idea of what im going to do. Some local mechanic who has done several repairs on my car and were pretty much friends has agreed to help me when im ready for that.Im happy I made this choice because at first i was skeptical and doubtful and wanted to stay N/A. Im ready for maddd power and whine:th_laugh-lol3:. And ebay has some cheappp kits so i will get more for my money. I will start with supporting mods while im N/A to get things started.Only thing im concerned about is KR and tuning I have no idea how to look for it but ill try and shoot for KR reducers. Just thought id share.

Morad parts has them in there ebay store but i cant remember how much and im to lazy to look it up

I think morad is around 600 last I saw... they are the only top swaps I've seen on there...

nowadays you can get a top swap much cheaper by piecing it together from people selling off parts. you can get it even cheaper if you find someone who bought a long block and only needs the short block.

look harder, you can get a better deal.

Yea go on ebay and look up top swap kits.They have 2 main ones one for $500 and one for $600.I checked morad but only saw full motor swaps for like $1-2k.Ill double check though.

one thing your going to need is to buy a dhp and learn to tune the car yourself.

Yea I hear about dhp all the time.Now with that does it have tutorials to guide me to tune or do i have to just guess and figure things out? Its also quite an investment but i guess it pays off.

Lol.No a turbo is out of the budget and honestly i prefer 2 things over a turbo; instant power and a lovely whine.Plus this is my DD. Any major problems that I may need to prepare for?(those who have top swapped). I heard the crank bolt is problematic.

crank bolt is a little pain in the ass, as for tuning, just reading and learning.
