Honestly if you want a little HP gain, your talking intake($350), custom ls6/ls1 intake manifold ($350-500) Cut out or full exhaust ($50-$1000). Down pipe ($150-300), Dyno tune or downloader ($200-500)

Or car tuning turbo kit for $5600 with intercooler, cutout, injectors, tune, water meth, shift kit, everything you need.
 
nice write up 707. as for headers they are hard to find (not made anymore) i think the biggest gains will be with the 1.8 rockers and spring kit. alot of people are doing a custom exhaust it is much cheaper than a kit. posted above airaid has a throttle body spacer. there are things out there but with major gains turbo or a N2O system and turbo is way more than $2k
 


Look around before you buy! A guy on another site just sold his rocker and spring set (still in box) for 325.00. I will be selling some of my stuff soon: TBS, ported intake, downpipe from Hogan, Diablo hand held tuner.
 
No box tune will be better than a custom tune.

And you linked a handheld tuner with preset tunes.... not a chip.

All you should do with your car is get a built tranny with 3.29's if you are going to be aggressive with it.
