• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I have 3 codes suddenly..

Googled them and still not sure about them
C0000
C0175
P0174

Also my aeroforce has been shutting off and resetting constantly, just like when I shut the car off, like every minute or less.
I unplugged it and plugged it back in with the car off, no accessory, just off.

When it turned on, the lights on my ac/recirc/defrost buttons flickered for a split second and the aeroforce screen looked really weak and flickery, then it shut off. Plugged it back in with the car already running and it turned on like normal but then started resetting again.

Had the aero for months now with no problem, got a new hu with a new harness interface but its been in for weeks with no issues.

C0000 - Vehicle Speed Information Circuit Malfunction
C0175 - TCS Pilot Valve Circuit open
P0174 - System too lean (Bank 2)

I say you wired something up wrong when you put the HUD in and its only now affecting things.

It's just a color for color wiring harness that you splice together, really hard to mess it up especially since I went over it like 10 times.
And what would cause it to work perfectly for weeks and then suddenly start screwing up? Also, it's a head unit, not a HUD, not sure if that affects anything.

I already googled the code meanings, Im just unsure what to think about some of them, especially C0000 and C0175.

p0174... My o2 sensor has been throwing heater codes for a few weeks now, could that be causing it? Bad o2? Or is lean always a vac leak?

I have a few new codes now...
C0000, C0175, and P0174 are gone now, but now I have...

P0040 - P0040 Upstream Oxygen Sensors Swapped From Bank To Bank
P0134 -02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 1)
C0135 - C0135 ABS/TCS system pressure circuit open
P0300 - Random Multiple Misfire

So I guess it's safe to say atleast some of these are saying I need a new upstream o2 sensor... The C codes are losing me and worrying me though...

I should also mention that I have no light on for these codes, I only found em cause I checked the aeroforce, and also the p0300 misfires are sporadic, they only happen when I start the car hot and it seems to be only cyls 3 and 4 missing... I was told it had something to do with them being in the middle and getting extra hot?

Whenever listing codes, please list at least the name. When stealth listed them..it increased your chances of guys with knowledge about this stuff to respond. We really hate the "Here's codes..go look them up". Pisses me off..:th_laugh-lol3: Sooo which car is doing this, an 04 Comp?

Codes are a little odd. I say odd, because on the 3800 there is no bank 2 O2 sensors being used. P0174 There is only Bank 1 S1 (exhaust manifold) and Bank 2 S2 (behind cat). Getting a Bank 2 code...should not happen as they are programmed to never happen.

C codes I believe relate to the chassis or body. P codes are powertrain (engine/trans)
C0175 Your ABS light and TCS lights should also be lit if you are getting these codes. Are they?

C000 Vehicle speed circuit malfunction. Without googling that..I'm thinking it's complaining about the instrument cluster. What did google say? Ok..I googled a little. This code may not be a code. I saw a reference saying ISO/SAE reserved and another saying VSS circuit. Not sure which way to go w/o finding a 3800 vehicle reference on it.

P0040 Swapped O2 signals from B1 to B2 sensor. Another oddball that you never see, because we don't use B2 at all. There isn't even wiring on the car to use is.

C0135.. See the other C code where I asked about ABS lights.

Relatively speaking, I am wondering about your pcm. Tossing these codes leads us to some type question behind why the pcm is throwing codes it's programmed to not even see. Very strange and funky. I would start by trying a pcm.
