Would a stock 97-03 GTP be able to beat a stock 98 mercedes E320 and a stock 02 sabb 9-5 aero automatic. The reason I am asking because I have a friend who owns both of these cars and we got to talking about cars and he said that his cars would destory a gtp
 


i dont even know why it matters. so what if you loose. at least you will have had fun goin fast. at least thats the way i look at it. and cripes you dont know how many times ive heard some jackass say that his car would DESTROY my gtp. really? destroy? i know our cars arent wicked fast from the factory or anything but they arent that bad.

don't gtp run like a 14.7 in the 1/4 mile
 
Fastest I have herd for stock was about that, but I think one touched 13's with just a tune. It was either 14 flat or high 13's.
 
Mercedes: 221 HP, 232 Ft. Lb., 0-60 in 6.9 sec.
Saab: 250 HP, 258 Ft. Lb., 0-60 in 6.7 sec.

But you also gotta take into consideration that the MB is a little old so the time will be slower to sixty.
 
Run up and find out. Go into the deal thinking your not going to win, if you end up winning you don't look like an ass, do you?

I think if you know how to drive your car you'll surprise the hell out of him...
 


we raced and I killed the e320 of the line and by 60 I was like 4.5 cars ahead of him. I beat the sabb by a bumper to 60
 
Not talking much **** now is he? LOL Sad part is, you can add a few bolt ons and embarrass him worse cheaply.
