• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I guess this is considered a kill, kinda funny.

this is going in all the wrong directions AGAIN in this stupid kills section AGAIN.

the 350z is just as fat as a GP is, weight is piss poor. they have a high revving motor which means they dont make power down low. stop looking at numbers on the internet and think about it for a little bit. who CARES if it makes more power and is documented that they run mid 14s. in this case the kid couldnt drive. in the real world A LOT of people cant drive.

because they are not faster than GTs. with a normal driver both cars will run a 15 second pass.

I'm just arguing with this retarded thought that you guys think GP GTs are just as fast as 350zs. It's mindbogglingly stupid. We rag on GTs losing to Civics and Cavaliers and so forth in one thread but all of a sudden they can hang with 350zs here? Come on.

Just like you Nick...my balt would toast your scooby and you know it

bring it on. im pretty sure the transmission will take a couple 4k clutch dumps. maybe.

just so i dont have to keep posting about this: you win.

a civic over a 350z? no way, i bet the z would reel in sooooo much putty

but id keep the gtp to do my dirty work with lol after the above argument

with that said, nice kill jesse

350z is a dumb car. they sound good but honestly if i had the money id buy an 05 STi. much more versatility... good kill btw.

i know too many of those kids with rich parents. one got handed a hyundai tiburon on his birthday, and 2 transmissions later still didn't use the clutch. he totaled it later.

the first gear i ever put a manual in was reverse haha. i've driven 4 different cars with manuals and have yet to own one. only stalled any of them once.

i know the feeling

beggars can't be choosers i guess. i got a great deal on my car and the only things wrong with it are made out of plastic. hopefully i can get one after college. i'll see what a 2008/2009 cobalt t/c is down to by then haha

Why are you bringing your experiences in a modded GTP up? That has nothing to do with this discussion.

Answer this for me: If you lined a Grand Prix GT and a 350z up who would win barring unforseen driver problems or factors like that. Of all the people on here why are you defending a piece of **** GT? 350z are almost consistently low 14 mid 13s. Show me some decent evidence of a GT beating a 350z in an even matchup.

I hav been to the track alot and I havnt seen a single stock 350z run quicker than 14.6.... And I run high 13s low 14s and I've raced them at the track and street and they dnt cme close to beatn me... They are def not 13 sec cars.. As for a stock gt and a stock 350z the 350z wins that race... But not bc they run mid 13s ..only bc the gt is slow stock...

I bet there was a crap ton of money tied up in that.

Not really. That GT only made 247 whp. Which is about equivilant to the average 3.4/rocker'd GTP. It was probably just cammed with some other bolt-ons like P&P Heads/headers and had an awesome tune. I do know it had quite a bit of weight reduction though.

And props for beating your inexperienced friend!
