i got pulled over today

4 over is 2 points on a Jersey license? Remind me to never move there. 5 and under doesn't get points in PA.

i dont know how many points you would get here in jersey, but im sure ill get 2 points for a out of state violation.

jersey aint to bad, you can go up to 12 points, take defensive driving courses to get up 3 removed at completion, and 2 more after 6 month violation free.

you also lose 3 points every year you go violation free too.

bad part is they surcharge the living crap out of you, for 3 years on the points as they still appear on your record. i was paying like 600 a year for 3 years, or some ungodly amount.
 
IL doesnt have points form what I remember. I got pulled over for doing 97 in a 30 when I was 19 cop walked up snapping and the vent my buddy tried to shove his dobbie down was attatched to my glovebox so when I opened that it fell out and landed on the door and just chilled there. Cop didnt even notice it since it was so crushed up only charged me for 55 over too because his exact words "your f******g @** is lucky its shift change"
Then 2 weeks later I went to the same cop and gave him $200 in quarters in a empty plastic Budwiser thing to bail my buddy out.... He freaked
 
lucky... state dicks around OH add to the speed you were doing. in my case, he doubled how much over i was. trying to keep up with a buddy, i was doing 90, cop said i was doing over 120. funny part, the car i was following is limited to 115, and he was a mile in front of me. probably should have got a lawyer, now i'm a little past halfway of a 6 month suspension

Why didn't you ask for some proof, or even just take it to court?

I'm just really doubting this story.
 
never seen em add speed, they always seem to drop it some, unless you are a complete asshole to the cop, like you ran or mouthed off, not saying that you were but just saying in general.
 
i still haz ticket. all i wanted was to not get my license suspended, and i thought pleading guilty to 90 in a 65 would let me keep it, but apparently not. car i was following: 07? maybe mustang, 4.0 V6. he never actually hit me with radar, he said he paced me. knowing where he was, where we were when he caught me, and how long it takes a cop car to get up to 120, i figure he would have had to be doing almost 170 when he caught me. the kil-kare wristband, bloodshot eyes from a black and mild, my natural tendencty to stutter, and the shirt that said "party like an irishman" must have made him think i was intoxicated. almost made me do a sobriety test. as if the 19 year old in a 3-week old firebird isn't reason enough to f me in the a.
 
yeah when you more than double to speed limit they tend not to like that, even if its a lie. 3 months to go hang in there.
 


i swear to god i wasn't going that fast lol. 120mph is something you notice yourself doing, i was just cruising
 
ah, i see now lol. i could have got off that, he didn't even have radar. oh well, i get it back january 21st. kinda getting close... almost
 
f*ck that lol. i'm hating 6 months, and i still have work and school priveleges, still drive everyday. sometimes not exactly legally, but i'd still be on my way home from school or work lol
 


damn... i live in the middle of nowhere lol. i just wish it was in the grand prix. VIN comes back to GT, GT is limited to 107. kbye

My buddy told me Jersey's also got a clean slate thing... Fill up your points, and you get a one-shot (per lifetime) thing to delete your record.
