i almost forgot about this, (how could i)

got nailed doing 70 in a 55 today in Delaware on my way back from Maryland.

i thought i was in a 65, but i guess not, crazy part was the car to my left was going like 5 mph faster than me, and actually pasted me, and i get nailed.

seemed like he was out for trucks today, cool cop all the same, did a dot inspection on the work truck, dummy missed that none of the lights on the box work, so my boss got off on a ticket.

so after 30 minutes on the side of the highway, he gives me the ticket, wrote me up for 59 in a 55, not to bad, 80 dollar ticket. 4 mph over is better than 15 any day.

then proceeds to tell me my lic has a very colorful past lol the only thing i could say was "i used to drive like a real asshole." lol

so there's my i got pulled over story.

i got 12 in one shot 5 or 6 years ago, all equipment violations too, the boss got them tickets, not me, in the range of 800 to a 1000 bucks too.

Cool cop tho, writing you for 4 over, instead of 15.


Had an asshole POS Society Hill, SC cop pull us (luckily I wasnt driving) for doing 47 in a 45, though he swore we we're to the sign yet (goes from a 30 to a 45)...

$549 ticket for 17 over...no idea how they got that number...but it makes that $80 ticket look awful nice...as far as tickets go..

Ive gotten pulled over 3 times this month.
1) headlights not on @ night (Disabeled DLRs finally got me)
2) Front plate filler (posted on a local for sale site now lol, bronzemist)
3) speeding, cop chirped me about my tinted tails and was going to charge me $110 fine for each, i told him i bought them off some kid and have only had it on for a week, said the same thing for my plate filler.

total only about $120 worth of fines

I had a State Trooper say that to me once, I told him the local cops had it in for me, he laughed. I got a warning, only cruising 10 over, he told me it bumped to 70 a mile down the road, so keep it at 60 til then.

i have a jersey lic, and i was in Delaware, i dont think they offer the pay us more money for no points deal to out of staters. and going to court would be a hard thing to get done, so ill just pay the 80 bucks, not the end of the world.

the points will be gone in 2 years, if i dont get any more moving violations in the next 2 years.

being that i was out of state, no matter what i do, violation wise, i can only receive 2 points on my jersey lic, could have been doing 100 mph, only 2 points. but for sure would be paying a huge fine for 100 mph lol

yup trooper. small guy too, here in jersey they used to have a 6'5 height limit minimum, they had to drop it so women could be troopers, they still have very large men troopers tho, you dont want to piss them off, thats for sure, you will be beaten if you provoke them.

hope not, i pay to much as it is.

1200 a year for liability, jersey sucks! they only run your lic when you get a new policy here, so they may never know, unless the state tells them, i dont really know for sure.
 


Havent gotten a ticket in my GTP is a long time, i travel 80 miles round trip on the expressway every weekend to see my girlfriend.

Sometimes I am doing stupid fast speeds but I know every turn around, cut through, overpass, hill and gully like the back of my hand by driving the same route for years, I just simply slow down when I approach one of those trouble areas, other than that, its pretty much pedal down :th_laugh-lol3:
 
My buddie got pulled over in his BMW 745i with 22" rims going 115 mph in a 70 mph zone @ 4am Sat morning. Said 4 cops jumped out and came up to the car, immediately thought he was a drug dealer and yelled, "WHATS IN THE CENTER CONSOLE!!??" he told him it was his ID badge, he's a surgical resident at Henrey Ford Hospital and was going to work. Cops said "son of a ***** is a Doctor", got back in the cop car and took off. no ticket.
