Okay! My mom is soooo "dumb" when it comes to cars! When I got my first GTP she didn't understand the whole S/C so dad just told her it help with my gas mileage! Well she has been wanting another mustang since she got rid of her base GT. She has had her eye set on a 03 Cobra (S/C)!!! My dad has tried and tried to push her away from it but you know us females!! Well she got the car about 3 days ago. I will give her credit she can drive a stick!!! Well today me and her was on our way home she was in her Cobra and me in my GP. I called her and asked her if she wanted to see if her car could out run mine (i had a good feeling it could unless she just flogged on the shift). She thinks my car is fast...LOL. Well she said Okay. I explained to her the whole 3 honks I told her I would honk so she could have both hands free since she is driving a stick! Well we was on a dead end rd (our private drive). Its about a good 2 miles. We was down to about 30mph. Well I did the whole 3 honks I had her until she shifted....and that was the end! I got up to about 65 and she was already a good 1 car ahead if not pulling 2! I was like HOLY COW!!! So now her head is so big she can't walk in the door! lol. So Daughter 0 Mom 1 !!! lol
 


im not big on "stangs" but I am taking it to Memphis Saturday to test and tune to see what it runs! LOL
 
Best ford cobra ever made was in 03. dont feel bad. Besides taking a blown v6 to a blown v8 is never going to come out in the V6's favor.
 


^^ X2...That thing was underrated from the factory too. Ford said 390 HP and most put out about 420-440 RWHP...so yeah...pretty damn fast LOL
 
Yeah and just like our cars...It doesent take much to make them a lot faster.
 


I'd trade the GTP for one anyday not gonna lie...plus it is RWD...and its got a blower...AND they sound AWESOME :D

I remember sittin at the track and late late street nights where nearly EVERY 03 cobra completely demolished their rear ends on very light shifts, some threw the halfshafts clear across the lanes. They are down right nasty cars.
 
Well the cobra has new pipes! She got the Magnaflow exhaust system!!! It sounds purrty! I can't wait to take it to test and tune Saturday! I will keep you guys posted on what it ran
