I got a stupid question...

my car is starting to show signs of rust around the back tire well and gas cap. it's got rust bubbles and starting to show rust quickly. is there anything i can do about it without going overboard?

replace the quarter panel with one from a wrecker.

You can sand it down and clean up the area, then respray.

When you sanld it down you are going to be suprised how bad it is. It his rusting from the inside out. You will probable need sheetmetal.
