I got a new pet



Oh yeah, he has. I can only imagine his surprise and thoughts as he tried this when I had him in the bathroom so he could run around freely some. He climbed up to my head and proceeded to jump to the completely tiled wall of the bath tub.

If only I had a camera with me and could read sugar glider minds. OHHHHHHH @#$@!!
 
I think mine weights in at the lower to mid end of the 20lb spectrum but we do work him out too. I try and keep him in shape even though I haven't done such a good job for myself. We rough house quite a bit with chew toys and chasing around the house and such so he's developed some pretty strong jaws and muscular legs.
 


Ya mine will pull me down the sidewalk if i take him on a walk you wouldn't think the little guys would be so strong!!
 
Iv been researching sugar gliders because i am considering getting one. I hear they are about $150, is this how much you paid for yours?

I paid $75 for mine. I got mine from a person that already had a pair that had some off spring.

Its quite an experience to see them glide, they look like a square with hands and a head. But its comical too when they try to jump to something they cant get a grip on, you can almost see the expression "OHHHHHH CRAP!!!". Though they seem to get smarter the higher they go. That is to say if he was on top of a shelf they appear to consider more carefully where they want to go. But if he is on the floor, just about anything is game and sometimes it doesnt go so well.
