Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I just got challenged to race by a guy with a BMW. i think it's a 7-series, not really sure. his dad ownes a car dealership close to my hometown... dealer plates FTW. i'm good friends with him though. he said he might let me take an Evo out for a spin :th_drooling: they get some really nice stuff there. they list a 2009 GT-R under their inventory. rumor was that it was the first one imported for public sale in the US or something like that. check them out: Used car dealer in West Milton | OH | Ohio | Auto Expressions | (937) 698-7000
hopefully the roads are nice when i go home next week and i can line up with him. i'll keep ya posted

what year is it? i dont know what mods u got, but the 760i is a 6 liter v12 with 430+hp, the 750 is a 4.8 v8 around 360 or if its the 745i its only a 4.4 v8 but its still 320hp or so. so unless u got some pretty heavy stuff, i dont think your gonna do much. good luck tho.

dont do it them newer 7 series are 400hp all the way up to 535hp if not more, unless you can drive really well and got alota money into you car your is a gtp right?

haha nah, my car's a stock gt :th_thumbsup-wink:
i think it's an older 7-series, definitely not a v12. he said it actually has a smaller motor than mine, so it might be one of the older 7-series, like a 730i. either that or a 3-series, i just got one quick glance in a parking lot from like 30 feet away. it's blue, i know that for sure haha. this race is more for fun than anything. and if i actually win, he'll go pull a 78 camaro with a 396 off the lot, or one of like 3 corvettes, something like that lol.

edit: the 745i, with the 4.4L V8 and it's 349hp, only put's up a 6.2ish 0-60? that seems slow as hell to me haha

with 200hp and two less cylinders. and it is slow as hell lol. actually a 6.2 0-60 from a car like a gp gt is decent. i expect more out of something with a V8 and 150 more horsepower

Then you're not thinking about the issue correctly.

Consider cruise ships can generate tens of thousands of horsepower.

Then consider the medium they move through.

Then consider the mass of the moving object.

Now you should see why making a honda civic reach a certain time bracket might make more sense than making a big rig reach that same bracket.

hmmm... that's food for thought. between the two though, they're meant for the same medium, almost kinda sorta the same market niche, i'm sure the beamer's heavier though. i can see your point, i just thought that something with 350 horsepower was gonna be a little quicker than that

ah well that's bullsh*t, make him race the beemer first, THEN whatever else he wants. Only fair, you cant just change the rules like that.

haha it would have me beat by like 2 seconds in the quarter, that's probably 10 lengths or so? lol. the bmw was a early 2000's 328i. that would be a closer race

yeah no kidding. Try not to let him do that. You both know that Evo will win so why even race without a real challenge?

that's what i told him lol. i was joking that i'd race the evo if he lets me take the corvette off the lot.

update: this probably isn't gonna happen. not on speaking terms with the guy anymore. i'll find a different race. hopefully my buddy has his 3.4 swap done in his beretta

he messed around with my girl tonight... i'm contemplating taking a tire iron to his car lot

as far as your sig goes, the best place to start modding a gt is to make it not a gt lol. top swap or turbo. otherwise it's not really worth it

haha i know, i know. believe me, i'm the first one to see high school flings as what they are. it's whatever. i'd never actually take a tire iron to his car lot, some of those cars are really nice lol.
