Thieves are so low in my book and the most hated by me. My Grand Am was broken into twice!!! TWICE!!!!! The second time was a double whammy. Thanksgiving weekend 2007 I was going home. Had my suitcase with all my clothes, my expensive ones I might add because it was family weekend. (Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, etc.) I stopped by a friends house on my way home to pay him a visit. I hadn't seen him for a few months and wouldn't have time to see him the next few days. I had dinner and chilled with him for a few hours, watched some college football. When I was leaving discovered my car had been broken into, suitcase gone, stereo, and anything else that wasn't tied down (school work, textbooks). The thief even took the pieces that fell out of my dash when he pried it open, like the freakin plastic case around the key hole.... Well I talk with the police, send in my report, they don't even send an officer out to ascess the damage because their auto theft crime unit was off for Thanksgiving... go figure on that Maryland service. Trust me they got a mouthful...
The reason it was a double whammy was because I received a call the next morning from my roommate that our school apartment had been broken into, as well as several others in our development. Everything was gone... my xbox, laptop and desktop, 55" tv we all pitched in for.... and yea.... they stole my F-ING CHINCHILLAS!!!
I hate thieves. They made it such a hassle and a huge struggle to get through the rest of my school year. Most importantly they took 2 of my animals that I cared for a lot. Think if someone stole your dog... They were more important to me than any of the other stuff that was taken.
I have no sympathy for whatever happens to this guy.
The bright side is I never leave stuff in my car ever!!! My stereo faceplate will always come off. No reason to give them ANY reason to break into my car... I did it for a week and it became second nature and doesn't even feel like a hassle.
