my brother had a 1978 gp. it was just like this one but red, and just as clean http://www.madle.org/gp78b.JPG
it was candy red with a white top, cuztom red interior with white striping and had grandprix in the seats, and on the floor mats, 15" daytons with vogue tires. it was like fully restored.he sold it to a freggin dope boy for 3000. ive wanted that car since i was little
he bought it in 1982, and he used to pick me up from school in it. that thing used to move!!!
i just wanted someone to vent to. i almost cried man. i really wanted that car.
 


Buy it back man, I am sure he will sell it back. Not trying to get you down even more but soon it will be either on 24"s or on the teeniest tiniest wires he can find with air bags.

and i didnt have the 3k thats why my brother didnt sell it to me.
if i had it, it would have been mine.
hes a ultra ultra rediculous neat freak. the car didnt have a scratch on it. honestly no joke man. omg...
 
Prepare to see it mangled, I guarantee you will see it riding on 22+"s OR little wire wheels and you will burst out in tears or anger.
 


Trust me guys I tried. I really did. But the only thing I could offer him was 150 a month. He said if no-one bought it in a month he would think about it. He keeps the car in the garage, but everytime he pulled it out 2 wash it (every other freggin day even in the winter, he's a weird neat freak like nobodies biznez) someone would say "man, you wanna sell that?) He put a for sale sign on that car, 3 days later it was sold. I didn't stand a chance with my little 150 a month. I think he could have sold it for more than 3k, but that's what he was asking. Man I'm pissed. Ill try to find a pic of the actual car. Ill have 2 scan it, load it, and save to a disc to upload here, but ill see if he has one. I haven't talked to him sinnce he sold it lol. I realllllllllllly wanted that car since I was like 6 yrs old.
 
And I already know he's gonna put some 22's on it. Hell get caught with drugs, the car will get taken, then sold at a auction. Mark my words
 


Sorry to hear that buddy....I guess you can wait around till dip sh*t gets busted and it goes to auction. If your brother was that particular about his car and you bought it he might be riding your ass about how you take care of it.
I'm sure you would take very good care of it but still he might not be happy.

I'm a neat freak with cars. Just not as bad as him.

I mean, I can find another one, but I never seen one like his. Not to say his was the nicest gp out there, but it fit my style perfect. Idk, I just loved that car.
 


Lmao. Y'all r crazy. That's kind of a good idea. I know he'll get me up-top but I might beat him downlow. Just depends on if he knows how 2 drive. It'll have 2 be a short race from a dead stop because I don't know what he was feeding that 350 but that car was quick. If he slams hit foot down that thing is just gonna spin the tires until he let's off. But even if I do win, he's a dope boy. Hell just shoot me if he lost. Ill have 2 bring my 9mm!!! Just in case. Lol. Worst part about all of this is that my brother is a freggin cop. Lol
