yeah. Not sure if there was a difference between the v8 and non-v8 ones but I am pretty sure gm used the Hy-Vo chains. I know Dave at TEP sells them in his rebuild kits.
It may be possible. Guy I bought the trans from said it was all stock never been touched out of a 98. Im thinking it may have been rebuilt? So no they dont come with the hyvo 2 chain?
