98 gtp, dual climate sytem ( not the 3 knob) does not kick on at any speed, replaced the blower control power module and the blower motor, no operation yet. is there a relay? fuses are good as well as the ground, ALLData flow chart is telling me i have an open in the orange wire, what a nightmare

What about the blower resistor?

Or is that what you meant by the blower control power module? Or does the dual climate control not have one? Id think it still would, as far as I know the resistor just controls fan speed.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_to_troubleshoot_blower_motor_resistor_on_2000_Pontaic_Grand_Prix_SE I know i found a better how to then this once. Ill keep looking

my car uses a blower motor control module, rather than a resistor pack like normal. the normal resistor is a 7 pin connector, where mine is 4 pin and whole lot more expensive lol. here is mine

where is the relay located? i cant find it in alldata

nevermind. alldata says my car does noy use a relay , and relies on the blower motor control module

also the relay is in the blower motor resistor of the manual HVAC units as well. so what are you talking about?

Im not real savvy with relays and electrical terms, but I had this similar problem in my old 02 GP. I went through the trouble and money of replacing the blower motor and all that like you have. It turned out to be the actual HVAC unit/box under the radio head unit, the part with the HVAC climate control and airflow direction knobs, that failed. Replaced it with a new dual climate control unit or whatever it's called, and worked just fine after that. Hope this helps! Good luck :th_thumbsup-wink:

did yours power up? mine acts like it works, i press the ac button and i can hear the ac clutch engage, however nothing comes out at any speed, hot or cold
