My HVAC control box needs replaced, I believe. The knobs for fan speed, direction, and heat level work fine, but the buttons for the AC and Rear Defrost barely work. It takes me sitting there pushing the button for 5-10 minutes repeatedly to get either one to work. The middle button for recirculation works fine.

So being that winter is upon us, Im going to need my rear defrost to work. Can anyone give me an estimate on the cost of this part? Or if it's even available anywhere? I've looked around at some stores and cant find any. Might end up having to take a drive to the junk yard.

Or... if there's an easier way to fix this than replacing the whole box, that'd be cool.

Go to the junk yard and get the whole control panel. Pop your dash trim off and replace it. Should be very easy for you to do yourself.

Pick HVAC Controls, Pick what part of PA you live in

Pick your options
man cont (opt C67), non heated seat
auto/aux cont (opt CJ2), heated seat (opt KA1)
auto/aux cont (opt CJ2), non heated seat
man cont (opt C67), heated seat (opt KA1)

Search. It'll bring up many of the local boneyards in your area to pick from as a starting point.
Not all are in the database, but gives you a good idea of the going rates.
