Ok im new to the form and i have a 2001 gtp 2dor 120k, i recently got this car and on the way driving it home my dic just shut off, tcs off light and everything thought i bumbed a dimmer or something but now it randomly works and then dosent but when i bought the car the blower motor high fuse was blown so high didnt work others did but untill i lookd at the fuses to replace it they had a wire jumpd from the hvac control fuse to the power windows circuit breaker so i was like wtf and pulled it out. And when i do the hvac control dont work at all. So i left it out and then randomly i was playin with it trying to figure it out and my dic was on and working i turnd on the fan motor and it made my dic go blank i have no idea whats goin on if there related or what. Need some help please?

Just did some more fiddling around and took a pevac ce of wire and put in a spare fuse spot givein it 12v and if i pull the hvac fuse and put the wire into the bottom spot of the fuse my dic comes on and works and then if i put the wire in the top slot my blower speed knob works ????? But if i put a fuse back in nothing happens at all both dont work. And if i multi meter the bottom slot i only get about 10v and 0 on the top and all other fuses read 12.5

1st, I would be real careful using non spec fuses. 2nd, I would try to get the systems that are not working properly back to stock. I had problems w/ fan blower and DIC lights, and other elect issues. I did some reading, and decided to change ignition switch. In the process I found electrical mods p.o. had done and I rewired back to stock. I also pulled the fuse for seat htr, as a precaution. I have not had any elect problems since. Good luck.
