HV3 questions...

I've been contemplating picking up an HV3 for some time now, but a couple of things have been holding me back.

I bought the car used from a member of 2000montecarlo.net. He had the LIM gasket and UIM replaced. I'm not sure if I have the dorman intake or not. I've read that the HV3 doesn't work with the dorman intake.

Is there any way to tell the difference between a factory intake and the dorman one? Anyone have pics of the differences that make it not compatible with the hv3?

its a good insert. works wonders up top, i wish i had mine im my car again but im goin genv right now so no need for it

it can fit a dorman. just requires some precise trimming with a dremel tool
