• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

hv3 install

I got it installed this morning. Took me maybe two hours and the car seems to react better at WOT.

also on a side note I'm going to be a father so this might be last upgrade.

Got a question for anyone before I tear into this...

Got my hv3 and Im preparing to do start tomorrow... I got as far as taking off the intake and unplugging the various connectors. Now Im looking at it and Im thinking about the big tube of wires that goes across the top of the UIM. It's really stiff and no slack at all. Will it loosen when I pop the fuel rail or something? What's the best way to get the manifold out from under that?

Also, why did you have to dremel the clips off?

i believe once you get the fuel rail unbolted it should all move out the way as two of those lines are fuel lines connected right to the fuel rail. Then just unbolt the upper intake and you're good. Also you might not have to dremel the clips mine was easy enough to undo.

Ok well I looked at the new gasket zzp sent me and I see the difference in vail's picture, the center clips on the new zzp gasket dont exist, so that's why he had to dremel them off for reinstallation, they wouldnt fit with the hv3 in there.
