HU wire not connecting?

I just bought a new kenwood deck and full installation package for said deck. Although, I noticed when installing the adapter wireline harness, the larger factory plug goes into the adapter, but there is a smaller second factory plug that needs to plug in somewhere, but there is no adapter for it nor is there a spot for it in the new deck. Does anyone know what this plug actually contains power or control to? Also do I have the wrong adapter? I have an 02 gtp. Thanks for everyone's help.
 


The Bose amp. I had to slice the remote wire off the new radio into the pink lead on the Bose harness. Without it, it's not gonna power your speakers and you'll get no sound.

I tried that and it's still not powering up. I can hear the head unit process at startup, but nothing displays and it won't play music???
