i Currently have this for a system.

HU: Sony CDX-GT340/CDX-GT34W Xplod CD/MP3 Car Stereo w/ Aux (CDXGT340)

4-Channel Amp: Kicker ZX460 30W X 4 Car Amplifier - Features & Specs at Crutchfield.com

Sub: Clarion PXW1251 Component Car Subwoofers - Car Subwoofers at Onlinecarstereo.com

Sub Amp: Clarion APX1301 - Monoblock Car Amplifier, Power Amp - Sonic Electronix

basically what im wanting to do is put a second sub in. I know it would be best buying a new monoblock amp for it but ill be stuck with the other amp as i dont who would buy it. So what i was wanting to do was just buy the exact same amp and just run each amp to its own sub. Do i have enough preouts for that or would i use a distribution block or how would i go about making this work?

You have a few options.

Option 1: Use the Front output to the 4ch and run it in some form of parallel mode, either Y-split the signal or run the amp as 2-channel (some have it, some don't), use the Rear output to your subwoofer amplifier, & parallel the signal from it (if there is an RCA output) to your other amplifier.

Option 2: Buy something along the lines of the Clarion EQS746, run from your Front output into the EQ, and run RCA cables from there, as it will give you front, rear, & sub outputs.

Your headunit is similar to mine, as mine only has front/rear outs, and no dedicated subwoofer out (however there is a sub volume setting on the H/U). I'm going with Option 2 personally, gives me more control of my sound.

right now its setup like this.

The HU has the rear/sub out option where it can change between the two. Its set to sub out and my sub amp is using that pre out. that leaves the front preout which my 4chan amp is Y'd off of that preout.

i already have the dedicated sub out but only one. Could i Y off that and put in another mono amp like i already have? These amps cant be chained together. So looking at what you said im running option one but the amps only have rca inputs no outs. Thats where im confused on what to do. Would i switch to option 2 then? And if i do switch to option 2, that means i have enough preouts for the 4chan and 2 sub amps right? i miss having my fade and balance adjustments :P

Either way, you're going to have to send a second signal to the sub amplifiers. It's your choice if you want fade options or not. The way you have it now is just fine. Does the sub amplifier have a second set of RCA jacks? If so, you should be able to run it from there. If not, then Y-split is probably your best option.

sub amp doesnt have the second set of rca's. would make this a lot easier if it did. So what your saying is i have to Y off both preamp outputs. leave my 4channel amp the way it is now but just Y off the sub out for both amps?

Best cable ever.

this may sound dumb but can i do it like this then? buy the eq, and plug in what i have. that effectively fills up the pre-outs. if i get the 2nd amp/sub can i stick those rca's into my headunit? or do all rca's have to go to the eq now?

because its only $60 for it. it gives better volt output compared to my HU. Also allows finer tuning than my current HU. I also gain control of balance/fade again. It just seems like a better solution.
