How to remove stuck gasket from throttle body?

Get the 3M cookies. I seriously spent over an hour with a scraper and a razor trying to get gasket off a water housing on a Eagle Talon TSI. I finally said FVCK it and went to town and I bought a set of the disks. I got home and literally 5 minutes later I had all the gasket off.
