How to remove a really stubborn bolt?

Ok so I'm trying to take the hood off of the old fender clip so I can replace my fender, but my drill isn't powerful enough and a broke a wrench trying to do it by hand. I know this seems dumb but I could really use some advice and I need to have this done by tomorrow thanks for reading... it's a star head bolt

what make are those wrenches? cant say ive ever seen one snapped clean off like that, i've had em spread and strip inside in the past.
 


Manual impact driver, you should invest in one for things like this.

Smack the end with a hammer and that not only provides a shock to the bolt/screw but applys a turning force on the bolt at the same time, they work really well. Though you best make sure the bits you use can withstand the abuse, they tend to crack or break the end off.

My girlfriend got me a 19 volt impact wrench for Christmas, I'm sure there are limits to what it can do, but when it zipped out those horribly rusted downpipe bolts... I was wondering where it had been all my life.

Get one of those!
 
Or make your own magic bolt loosening spray, 50/50 mix - acetone & ATF. Works wonders... Spray, let sit a while and whoola!

but be cautious, as mentioned in other posts (Bill)... Don't use it near open flame or heated parts! :D
