How to remove a maxi fuse.

Those gray relay looking things (I think they are called maxi fuses or something), I need to try to get my fog lights working again. I can't figure out how to remove them. I pull and pull and no bueno. Is there a special trick?
 


Pliers maybe? They can be a little tight sometimes, I've had to rock them back and forth a couple times before they come out
 


when I removed a one I always just opened her legs and took it out....oh wait that's a maxi pad my bad always get those 2 mixed up :th_laugh-lol3:

Nah but a screw driver got the relay out for the fog lamps, switched with horn and still no fog lamps. Removed dash bezel to look at switch connection and it was fine :confused: Could that switch possibly have died when its on the amber light doesn't even light up. I still haven't checked the bulbs yet as I don't think its the problem but I will when its not 85 beating on me next to a black car. I have a feeling I'm de-railing the thread from what I originally started off asking...
