Nice! I'd love to do that but I'm too short to change plug number 3 as it is that would make it more of a challenge to get it for me. Any whooo great job!

Some have mentioned that there's a possible issue with heat soaking the coil packs so I'm going make a heat shield and add it to the op

Honestly I have no clue I'm just putting out the knowledge I have and how I did it. If some one has more knowledge for this thread I'll incorporate it in and add it. It would be good to know where more similar parts are. Thank you.

And you did an awesome job. I was just pointing out that for the 97-03 guys, they may be able to rob the parts off of a 3.1 to do this. Since there should be a few in junkyards, it could be lucrative to try it. None the less, you have a solution for the 04+ guys. Good work by you.

what year F body coil pack plate from camaro/firebird do I need?

The ones that have series II motors. I think that starts in 97+. But i think the others are the same plate so really as long as it had the v6 i guess. Any one correct me if wrong.
