How to make $1k fast as a teen?

So the problem is, I found my dream car and my dad pulled a pretty shady move on me. I have $3k saved and my parents said they would give me the rest for the car. So we went and looked at it and for 4.5k it was the most beautiful car I've ever seen. Problem is my parents are huge douches (Sounds extremely disrespectful I know) but when then they say, "Oh sorry your sisters iPad is more important" So what I'm asking is, is there anything you guys know I could do to save 1k fairly quickly? I have a job and school started so 2 jobs is out of the question. Any help would be appreciated. And I know from this post I come off as a spoiled braty self centered teen, but in reality im not. My parents really do favor my sister who works but doesn't pay for any of her ****.

wh*re your self out to a fugly chick for 1000 bucks or a really really fugly girl for 3k and then you could have extra moola for mods :auto1:
if i were you i would do the second or both your options are numerous....:th_jester:

You're 16 and have a 2006 Mustang GT.

Partial or not; you have $3k.

Spend $2k on a GP and the rest on upgrades/tune-up/work it might need?

My first car was a $700~ Buick Century with the iron duke and no options minus an automatic trans. No AC/power nothing/AM radio.

I don't want to buy a GT when theres a GTP variant, and my insurance won't insure on Forced Induction

Before I jump to conclusions...is the mustang yours or not? You say partial ownership, does that mean it's yours but it's in your parents name?

My dad and I share it. Insurance is in his name, so I guess technically it's his? I helped him pay for it a long time ago.

buy a gt as close to $2000 and top swap and don't tell insurance. most occasions they don't look under the hood when appraising/quoting, but if anything happens you will just be out the money for the topswap

2k assuming its worth it

Ok I'm confused here. You say you don't want to buy a gt when you can get a gtp. The say you can't have a gtp because your insurance company says you can't. First of all I would threaten to take your business elsewhere if they don't want to play ball. Secondly, what exactly do you want here? A gt or gtp? There is no gtp that is N/A as far as I know lol. Also you can talk the person down on the cost.

You have a job, and you're asking how to "save" money.

First you'll have to tell me how much money you make, and where you spend it all.
I could just tell you things to do to save money, but no idea if they apply.
- stop eating out
- stop buying alcohol
- stop buying drugs
- stop buying tobacco products
- stop buying useless things you don't need

For Crying out loud, be cool, you are 16 and have time and the resources
for a future top swap. Take it slow. Wear the suit for a minute and get yourself a nice N/A.
Everything will fall in place and you will learn a lot more about your car.
Start saving for a Turbo even.
