pshh..launch...SHO...more like slow
lol, I wasn't saying it was fast, I was just saying that I've been driving it more than the gtp since it killed a deer. Couldn't remember the launch rpms.
I've owned both cars and I still love the SHO. Better sound system, seats, handling, climate control ftw!, the top end, and the V8 surprises most. The gtp is just a newer car with less miles and faster, better mpg, not much else. So I will vouch for SHO's and say they are a good car, ahead of their time too. I just wish there was a better aftermarket parts available for them, thats why I got the GTP.
Isn't that short for "what what... YouTube - Samwell - "What What (In the Butt)" "??
OMFG!!!! idb just lost all its cool ness...![]()

my uncle had a 98 sho.it had a mean sound and it was fast, dont know what he did to it.i always wanted the 95 sho.i heard talks about bringin it back with a new engine ,a 3.5L ecoboost di twin turbocharged v6 producin 415 hp,400 lb ft tq.i heard it from bringbackthesho.com,u know how long they've been talkin bout reviving the sho.it would be cool tho,i'd buy one if i could afford it.
how much power do the v8's put out in the sho??
235hp and 230lb torque and a 6800 rpm redline.
I have a cai that really screams after 3400 rpm's because thats when the secondaries in the intake open up. When they designed it, the engine was capable of 300hp or so, they didn't think the tranny would hold it so they revised the intake and top engine so it came out at 235hp. At 235hp they were still ahead of alot of their competition, so it was acceptable.
The aftermarket parts suck because you really have to make everything yourself, maybe a y-pipe and tuner are available, but thats about it.
u haven't heard of shobrosgarage.com?
