how to get out of a window tint ticket

I have gotten hassled about tint twice since I got the Monte Carlo. It came that way when I bought it.
There is a GM anti theft sticker on my drivers window that is on top of the tint.
My reasoning was it came that way stock from the factory because that sticker is over top of the tint.
They don't like it but it seems to be a valid excuse so far.
 


yea cops are always trying to get in ur pockets with these lame tickets.
i pulled out the same letter showing that i have permission to have tint and the officer still gave me a ticket despite me showing the letter and the letter being stamped and signed by ga special investigations agent. i guess u can't piss them off or they will still ticket u especially in small towns i sometimes drive through. I didn't take ticket seriously and because had to work on the day of court i missed court date wow another 150 tacked on to ticket they wanted from me.
end of the day i finally went to court and showed the prosecuter who was very irritated when i gave him the paper work and attempted to make me angry in court by making lil comments here and there and acting as if he had to research the paperwork because he had never seen it b4 when in fact i had just beaten same tint ticket in another small nearby city in which he was the same exact prosecuter that i showed the same paper to 3 months earlier
in short they hate to let u off for this even if u do have the paperwork and it still cost me time to go spend half a day in court for a ticket should not have gotten in the first place so be courteous to office when show him the paperwork or he might fu@$ wit ya play stupid and give ticket anyway
 
i just may try this lol, i have horrid migranes and headlights and sunlight often trigger said migranes.... ill call my neurologist lol
 
I had lasik surgery and my eye doctor wrote 2 perscriptions (to keep in mine and my wife's vehicle) that have no expiration date on them. The form has a bunch of stuff for the doctor to fill out, one of the is expiration date and one of them is reasoning for. My eye doc is incredibly cool and would have written me one anyway, but he said I actually have a legitimate reason so he didn't think twice. Your eye doctor also has to sign off on it and keep a record at their office.

You have to take it to your local driver's license office and have it stamped and/or signed. But if you read the back of it, it will probably say you still can only have a certain percentage. It's not 20%, but much better than most legal limits. I've got 20% tint, but it tests at 17% to 18%.
 
I wonder if itle work for barnstable, Massachusetts (Cape cod) haha. My eye doctor is my cuzins wife...This aut to be easy:th_nanana:.....LOL
 


Well I finally got a tint ticket. Not a big one though, $57. Even my rear plate cover was mentioned, but no ticket for that. Removed the plate cover on the spot. Kinda silly if you ask me, it was not obscuring the plate in any way. Just a simple clear plastic cover to protect the plate.
I have removed the front tint already. Almost cost me $45 but their debit machine was malfunctioning so they let me go. :)
I can try to get the ticket reduced by showing the tint has been removed on my court date on Valentines Day next year.
 


Well, sure. If you get caught, I'm sure it will add up. Around here, if you stay of the highways and drive on city roads, your golden.
 
For me I was getting caught in my home town. Kinda hard to avoid the local RCMP when I have to drive past their department all the time because it is close to my house.
 


All of the cops I talk to and work with say they dont care unless they need another reason to pull you over for suspicion of another violation.
