how much would you spend on spark plugs. im looking to spent aroud 4.50 for the autolite double plat plugs. or should i get some copper plugs. dont have any mods to worry about but im gonna put a custom intake on pretty soon on my gt.

plat or copper for performance?

also i just put plugs in my car about6 months ago becuase there was a stumble in the motor and i didnt know if it was the plugs or something else so i just bought cheap plugs (2.50 ngk). but know i feel the stumble once in a great while and when i stomp on the gas i can here it miss fire. could this be the cheap plugs or should i chage the wires that i didnt change with the plugs.

srry for the long question

SEARCH ITTTTT.

But get Autolite 606 coppers, they work best in our stock gts

I was PO when the Advanced Auto guy gave me the gay NGK V-power and wouldn't go get the ones I wanted lol. Are mine any good anyone?

these engines love copper. get the 606s like said before.

about the missfire, check the wires replace if needed.

I always change the wires when I do plugs, especially on these cars. The wires never seem to survive being removed, especially from the back cylinders. That and the heat back there seems to cook them pretty well. You prob. damaged a wire when you changed plugs last.

FAIL. Coppers work best in modified GTPs. and should be changed every 15,000 miles. They are on or below par with iridium in functionality.
Iridiums are good in stock base, stock GT, and stock GTPs for 100,000 miles.

I'd rather change them at 15,000 anyway, and most people on here will say coppers are the best for any 3800...

While I understand that some people get their rocks off changing spark plugs (I'm not being sarcastic, I think it's kind of fun), with a stock car maintained correctly, why not save time/money with some set-it-and-forget-it stock iridium spark plugs? Why hassle yourself? Is there some kind of street cred for frequent spark plug changes?

v powers are so ****ing gay mang.

they're copper and ****.

what a load of ****ing ****.

terrible ****ing plug for anything and everything.

Even ford guys are switching from autolite to NGK now.... :D

haha, the funny thing is that I can't tell if you are joking...

and yes if you have a stock car and have the extra dough go ahead at get iridiums.
