There is this really nice 2005 comp g at a dealership not far from me. The car seems great, its cheap too under 8k with 80k miles on it. i test drove it checked the fluids ect. since its an 05 i wont have to worry about the lim failing. It would be perfect if it wasnt that god awful blue/ green color. I was thinking today ( i know i decided to try it for once lol) if it was black or white i would have already whipped out my shlong and marked my territory all over that sum bicth.

So i'm wondering what would it cost me to have the car painted? i dont need anything crazy or different, just a factory quality paint job would suffice.

any one want to gimme a ball park on this one?

depends where you go dude, but remember they will also have to paint the door jambs, engine bay, trunk and that is costly. i got quoted 5k to paint my old prelude black. imho your better off finding a gtp already black/white.

damn 5k really. thats blowing the budget to shreds, i figured itd be costly because they would have to do the engine bay and sh!t, but damn no way
 
A color change is always more costly than a repaint. But call up a reputable shop, and ask what it would cost for getting your blue/green car repainted black, just doing the outer panels. Sure the engine bay and **** won't be painted and it'll look bad, but only when the door/hood is open, which most people won't be looking for.

Regardless, take a picture of this car, if done right, almost any color could be modded tastefully. I have a teal 1991 Camaro in the garage and despite it all, I think truly, it's a beautiful color on that car.

i have thought of that and i dont doubt that it will. but the color or the change in the colors is dispicable. if it was just the blue or just the green id go for it but not the bleen
