• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

How much money have you put in your Grand Prix?

Around $300 so far to fix CEL issue. About $50 for replacement bulbs (PRNDL light, radio LCD light, and trunk light) and cosmetic parts. About to spend some more to get HUD added to my car. Still need to repair paint in a few spots, a good washing and waxing to last me the rest of the year, and hood decal if I go for it.

Edit forgot to mention I've had this car for about 3 weeks.

Id say I have about $6500+ into my white 97 GTP over all including the price I bought the car for witch was $1600. I have put about $1400 into my red 02 GP GT all together including the price I got it for witch was $500.

Too much... I agree

More than anyone ever should. Probably enough total to have paid for a g8 or a gto or even a vette in cash by now.

About $500 in almost a year of owning. That's doing any maintenance I could possibly do. Of course there are things I missed like touch up paint and other little things like replacing light bulbs.

^^^I have that on an Excel spreadsheet at my laptop at home, but without prices. I wish I would've kept up with prices!

Outside of what I bought my car for, I'd say I have less than $1800 into it. Most expensive thing I've done has been tires in Spring of last year.

Nearly $1200-$1800 in 2 years in bad parts, only 1 mod. My car HAS to be a lemon. Unless struts, wheel bearings, LIM gasket, tie rod ends, HUD, radiator hoses, valve cover gaskets, snout seal, A/C condensor & oil pan gasket with a side of tensioners, belts, and pulleys are normal replacements on these cars at 75k! Smells like odo fraud.

What year is the car? Because I did a lot of that well under 100K.

Edit: Looks like a 2000. Which definitely explains the gasket issues, bearing issues, strut issues, hose issues, the hud is just a turd etc.

You have to remember, it was 12 years old then, going on 14 now.

Did you do the work yourself or pay someone. A good portions of those parts go before 100k but are rather simple and inexpensive fixes.

I haven't bothered pricing everything just quickly crunching number in my head. Oh and coupon codes are your friend! The good thing is most of that is considered maintenance on our cars so since you got a good portion of it out of the way you shouldn't have to change then for awhile if at all.

Ive got under 2g's into my car including purchase. I have had it a year with no breakdowns, it looks good, works well and I spend my saved money on motorized sports that have no speed limits.

Bought it for $2,000, put another $1,500 or so into it since. About to drop another $500 on a LIM gasket, a pair of control arms, a pulley drop, and sway bars.
